Kalynne Rogers
After coaching JV and Varsity volleyball for 5 seasons, Coach Kalynne has stepped away from school ball to fill the roll of Ignite's new Club Director and owner! In addition to TAPPS volleyball, Kalynne also has past experience coaching club volleyball and clinics for Alamo Volleyball Association, Waco Jrs. and Ignite.
Kalynne played at Abilene Christian University where she served as a utility player filling the roles, of middle, setter, outside hitter, and right side hitter during here 4 year career. While there, Kalynne was named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic team, First Team Capital One Academic All-District VI, and Lone Star Commissioner’s Honor Roll. In addition she ranked among the top of the Lone Star Conference in service aces.
Before her college career, Kalynne transferred into Bracken Christian School for her junior and senior year of high school where she helped lead her team to two back-to-back state championships under the coaching of Shaunna Teuton. In addition, she was named 2 time 1st Team All-state, District MVP, All-area MVP, Academic All-state. During her club career at Alamo Volleyball Association, Kalynne was a part of the 2004 USA Junior Olympic silver medal 13K team and 2006 Bronze medal 15K team in the open division.
Coach Rogers is married to her husband Chris and is the mother to her precious sons Jaxson and Maddox.
