Michelle Koehl

Michelle is starting her 25th year teaching at Canyon High School, and she is currently teaching Calculus and PreCalculus. She served as an assistant coach at Canyon High school off and on over the years since 1999. She was fortunate to work closely with Heather Sanders and the Varsity Canyon Cougarettes over these years. During that time, Canyon advanced to the State Tournament in '99, '01, and '07. Coach Koehl has continued to be involved with youth volleyball over the years. Nearly every summer she helps with youth summer camps. She has worked with Ignite Volleyball for the past 9 years with Spark, coaching 11s, 12s, helping with clinics, and as a substitute coach. Michelle is married to her husband Chad who is the head baseball and assistant football coach at Smithson Valley HS. They have two children, Alyssa and Austin.
