Kelly West
Kelly West grew up in San Antonio, attending San Antonio Christian Schools. She played volleyball 6th-12th grade. She earned some All-district and All-state awards her junior and senior year, but did not pursue collegiate ball. She attended Texas A&M University and received a BA in English, graduating in 2002.
She began coaching volleyball at a christian school in Charlotte NC, where her family lived for 3 years. After moving back to Texas, and several years not coaching, she began again with the middle school program at New Braunfels Christian Academy, where she is currently in her 3rd season. Her older daughter played a few seasons with Ignite and had a great experience. So when given the opportunity to partner with Ignite to form a satellite team in New Braunfels, she was grateful for the opportunity to re-connect with Ignite and coach in their program.
